We are excited to welcome Maggie Boroujerdi who will lead us through translating a monogram chart to paint on a 13 mesh canvas.

You will learn to layout a monogram from individual letters, translate your 2 color design onto a 13 mesh canvas, stitch paint your design with acrylic paint and brush. Stay and stitch or take your canvas and 2 skeins of Milan home to needlepoint.

Bring your stitched piece back to Island House for a one week turn around finish to lace onto your beautiful pearl handled wicker bag (included in class fee).

Class fee includes: All supplies needed to design and paint a stitch ready 13 mesh monogram canvas; 2 skeins Milan; pearl handled wicker bag; finishing of your stitched canvas with our patent pending attachment method to your pearl handled wicker bag by Island House.

Maggie is the founder and designer behind love mhb studio, a needlepoint canvas design company based in Westport, CT. She brings her background in graphic design to her bold, modern and color forward needlepoint designs. Her approach to painting canvases is that God created white paint for a reason!
