Welcome to Needlepoint!  Join Island House in our studio to learn all the basic skills necessary to begin your journey with needlepoint.  You will be given a practice canvas, thread, needles, and a simple guide.  Our expert instructors will guide you through preparing your canvas for stitching, starting and stopping your threads, tent stitching (using both continental and basketweave techniques), and stitching around shapes (basic compensation).

Supplies to bring: Magnification if needed.  All other supplies will be provided.

Level: Beginner – Introductory

Class type: Group (maximum 8 students per instructor)

Please note: Class fees are non-refundable.  If you are not able to attend this class you may choose to transfer your class fee if you find a participant to come in your place.
