We are excited to welcome Maggie Boroujerdi of Love MHB Studios back to Island House!

Maggie will teach us how to take her Love MHB 2025 “Charts for Charity” from a printed paper chart to a painted canvas (13 mesh). 

You will learn to translate the charted design onto a 13 mesh canvas, and stitch paint your design with acrylic paint and brush ready for you to stitch. 

Maggie has chosen the local not for profit Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, as her charity for 2025.  Island House will be donating $25 from each participants class fee to The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County in Maggie’s honor.  The mission of The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County is: to serve as an efficient and effective provider of nutritious food to non-profit organizations that feed the hungry in Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Stamford and Wilton, while seeking to raise awareness of, and promote action to combat hunger in those communities. 

Bonus: 11/29 is Small Business Saturday! Maggie will have a mini trunk show at Island House for the day.  Kit your canvas, relax and stitch your design while enjoying mimosas and cookies.  Before you leave be sure to enter your name into our holiday raffle.

About the instructor Maggie Boroujerdi

Maggie is the founder and designer behind Love MHB studio, a needlepoint canvas design company based in Westport, CT. She brings her background in graphic design to her bold, modern and color forward needlepoint designs. Her approach to painting canvases is that white paint was created for a reason! Progress over perfection.

Please note: Class fees are non-refundable.  If you are not able to attend this class you may choose to transfer your class fee if you find a participant to come in your place.
